About Ocean Stories

Ocean Stories is a new visitor center in Honningsvåg, where you can explore life along the coast and the sea that provides us with food, work, and stories. Here, you can learn more about aquaculture, fisheries, and coastal culture through engaging exhibitions, guided tours, and activities for the whole family.

At Ocean Stories, we bring the sea to life through interactive exhibits, local flavors, and unforgettable experiences.

Grieg Seafood

Grieg Seafood Finnmark has been operating in salmon farming in West Finnmark for several decades.

With its 300 employees, we produce 400,000 meals every day, delivered worldwide.

In collaboration with Ocean Stories, we share the story of modern aquaculture: how the industry creates jobs, works together with local communities, and provides healthy seafood, all while striving for a more sustainable future.

Through our partnership with Ocean Stories, we demonstrate how modern aquaculture contributes to local employment and the global seafood supply, while actively working toward a more sustainable future.
