Destination 71 Degrees North

Destination 71 Degrees North is a key partner for Ocean Stories and a central player in the development of tourism in North Cape. Since its inception in 2005, they have created powerful and memorable nature experiences for both visitors and locals, offering activities ranging from ATV and snowmobile safaris to ice fishing, king crab safaris, and guided tours through spectacular Arctic landscapes.

Through their strong local roots and broad expertise, 71 Degrees North provides valuable insights into the nature, history, and ways of life in the north. They also offer accommodations and catering in fishermen’s cabins and lavvus by the sea, tailoring experiences for families, school groups, and corporate clients.

Visit North Cape is the leading destination management organization in North Cape Municipality, actively promoting, developing, and hosting throughout the year. Organized as a membership-based organization since 1992, they work to position North Cape as a sustainable travel destination for both tourists and the community as a whole.

With a 24/7 visitor center located in Honningsvåg, they offer information, booking services, and practical assistance—whether visitors come to experience the midnight sun, northern lights, or the vibrant local culture of the region.
