Eastern-inspired Searock Soup

  • Cut the pollock fillet into approximately 3 cm cubes, shred the Chinese cabbage into thin strips, and chop the spring onions into pieces.
  • Bring coconut milk, canned tomatoes, broth, chili paste, and soy sauce to a boil.
  • Add water, cream, or a bit more coconut milk until the soup reaches your desired consistency.
  • Add the spring onions and Chinese cabbage, and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  • Place the pollock cubes into the soup and let them simmer for about 2 minutes.
  • Adjust the seasoning with chili paste, soy sauce, and salt.
  • Serve the Searock Soup with bread on the side.
