Shrimp Cocktail

Method

  • Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, and sriracha in a bowl. Season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Chill until ready to serve.
  • Prepare the shrimp. Set aside some nice whole shrimp for garnishing.
  • Thinly slice the heart lettuce and distribute it into glasses. Finely chop cucumber and red onion and layer over the lettuce. Pour dressing over the salad.
  • Arrange the shrimp on top of the salad and garnish with extra shrimp, dill, and a wedge of lemon. Serve the remaining dressing on the side.

Tip:Don't discard the shrimp shells! It's very simple to make broth from them, which creates a beautiful base for soups and sauces.
