Fish Cakes with Curry

This recipe is inspired by Thai fish cakes. Serve the fish cakes with cucumber salad and sweet chili sauce as in this recipe, or with rice and peanut sauce. All our recipes are sourced fromgodfisk.no

Method

  • Cut cod into large pieces and process them together with salt in a food processor until you get a smooth dough.
  • Grate the zest of the lime and add it to the filling along with fish sauce, curry paste, and egg. Adjust with wheat flour if the mixture is too loose.
  • Finely chop the green beans and fold them into the mixture.
  • Form the mixture into small fish cakes and fry in oil until cooked through and golden, about 3 minutes on each side.

Cucumber Salad

  • Dice the cucumber, thinly slice the spring onions, and finely chop the chili.
  • Combine the salad ingredients and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Dressing

  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Mix the dressing ingredients and pour over the cucumber salad.
  • Serve the fish cakes with cucumber salad and sweet chili sauce.
