Fisherman's tacos with coarse fish (brailer)

Crispy fish taco with ling, mango, guacamole, and salsa is a delicious recipe that is easy to prepare. This dish was the winner in the 2025 Good Fish competition. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Ingredients

Method

  • Make guacamole by mashing avocados, garlic, chili, and lime.
  • Mix salsa with tomato, onion, herbs of choice, chili, lime, and sriracha.
  • Julienne carrots, cucumber, and fennel. Season with lime, salt, and pepper.
  • Blend mango, chili, and garlic into a sauce. Season with lime, salt, and pepper.
  • Cut the fish into 8–12 pieces. First coat in flour, then dip in cultured buttermilk with sriracha, and finally in flour again. Fry for 2–3 minutes until the pieces are crispy.
  • Warm the tortillas, fill with fish, vegetables, and salsa, and top with mango sauce.

Tip:Feel free to use other white fish such as cod or coley in this recipe.
