  • Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, and garlic, and mix with Worcestershire sauce, eggs, mayonnaise, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  • Add the crab meat and combine well.
  • Mix together bread crumbs and all-purpose flour, and add to the crab mixture gradually. The dough should be somewhat loose, so add more bread crumbs and flour if needed.
  • Season with a little pepper.
  • Moisten your hands and shape small cakes from the mixture.
  • Fry the cakes in a mixture of butter and oil for about 2 minutes on each side, and place the cooked cakes on paper towels as they finish.
  • Serve the crab cakes with sweet chili sauce, salad, and rice on the side.
