Crab Lasagna

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  • Remove the crab meat from the shell.
  • Thaw the spinach and squeeze out as much liquid as possible.
  • Coarsely chop the onion, sauté until soft in oil, and let it cool.
  • Mix spinach and onion together with the crab meat.
  • Cut the tomatoes into slices.

White Sauce

  • Melt butter in a saucepan.
  • Stir in flour and whisk in about one-third of the milk.
  • Stir well and continue to add more milk. The sauce should be fairly thick.
  • Combine the sauce with crab, spinach, and onion, and season with salt and pepper.

Lasagna

  • Start with a layer of lasagna sheets at the bottom of a greased, ovenproof dish, then add layers of crab sauce and tomato slices.
  • Bake the lasagna in the middle of the oven until fully cooked, about 30 minutes.
  • Serve the hot crab lasagna with a side of salad.
