  • Chop the pickled herring fillets coarsely and finely chop the onion.
  • Peel and dice the apple into small cubes. Drizzle lemon juice over the apple pieces.
  • Mix pickled herring, onion, apple cubes, crème fraîche, and finely chopped dill.
  • Season with pepper.
  • Serve the tartare on slices of whole-grain bread.
  • Garnish with radish slices and salad.

Tip:You can use a small ring mold or similar to shape the bread and tartare.
