Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Cut the salted cod into serving pieces and place in a greased baking dish.
Bake the cod in the oven until it flakes easily when gently pressed, about 10 minutes.
Boil the potatoes until just tender, then finely chop the chives and parsley.
Break the salted cod into flakes and spread over a serving platter along with the potatoes.
Shave butter over the top and sprinkle with chives and parsley.
Toss the salad in olive oil and spread it over the platter.
Serve the salted cod salad with bread on the side.
