Grouper with Soy and Chili

Method

  • Cut the grouper into serving pieces.
  • Sprinkle with lemon juice and let it sit in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Slice spring onions crosswise and cut chili into rings, then lightly steam in a bit of water.

Sauce

  • Finely chop garlic and chili, and grate ginger.
  • Place garlic, chili, and ginger in a saucepan along with the other sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Taste with honey and lemon, and add a little salt if needed.
  • Place the fish pieces in the sauce and let them simmer until cooked, about 8 minutes.
  • Serve the grouper with sauce, spring onions, chili, rice, and some lemon wedges.
