Crab Burger with Pesto and Rösti Potatoes

Burgers are a great and flavorful way to serve seafood. In this recipe, the burger is made from crab and served between two flat rösti potatoes, with salad and pesto. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Method

  • Remove the crab meat from the shell and mash it with a fork.
  • Finely chop shallots and chives, and dice the bell peppers into small cubes.
  • Mix together crab meat, shallots, chives, bell peppers, mustard, potato starch, and egg until well combined.
  • Form flat burgers and fry them until golden and thoroughly heated in a mixture of butter and oil.

Rösti Potatoes

  • Peel and grate the potatoes, then squeeze out as much water as possible.
  • Stir in salt and pepper.
  • Make two flat rösti per burger you have prepared.
  • Heat plenty of oil in a large skillet and fry the rösti for about 2 minutes on each side.
  • Place a crab burger between two rösti potatoes and serve with salad and pesto.
