Salmon Tataki with Ponzu and Lightly Fried Vegetables

Ingredients

Ponzu Sauce

Method

  • Mix the ingredients for the ponzu sauce together.
  • Combine lemon juice and soy sauce, coat the salmon loin in the marinade, and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Sear the marinated salmon for about 1 minute on each side in a hot skillet with a little oil. Let the salmon rest before slicing.
  • Cut cucumber into long strips.
  • Cut sugar snap peas and spring onions into pieces and lightly sauté in a pan.
  • Arrange cucumber, sugar snap peas, spring onions, and edamame beans on a plate.
  • Slice the salmon into approximately 1 cm thick slices and arrange over the vegetables.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds over before serving and serve with ponzu sauce.
