Baked Snow Crab with Herb Butter

Snow crab is considered the smaller cousin of king crab, just in a more petite version with a sweeter flavor. Roast it in herb butter and serve with bread and salad on the side. All our recipes are sourced fromgodfisk.no

Method

  • Set the oven to 200 °C.
  • Break the snow crab legs into joint sections, then cut each piece in half lengthwise to expose the meat. Use a sharp knife with some weight or a sharp pair of scissors.
  • Place the snow crab pieces on a baking sheet with the meat side up.

Herb Butter

  • Finely chop garlic and thyme, then blend them smoothly with room-temperature butter, paprika, curry, and pepper in a blender.
  • Spread the herb butter over the snow crab meat and bake in the oven for 5 minutes.
  • Squeeze lime juice over just before serving.
  • Serve the snow crab with bread and a fresh salad.

Tip:Feel free to put any remaining herb butter from the baking sheet into a bowl and serve it alongside.
