Pasta with Shrimp and Crème Fraîche

Pasta is always a favorite and pairs well with shrimp. In this recipe, the sauce is the secret. Parmesan and basil add an Italian flavor. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Method

  • Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
  • Drain the water and toss in olive oil.
  • Cut the onion, celery stalks, carrot, and garlic into small cubes.
  • Sauté the vegetables until soft in olive oil.
  • Add flour, tomato paste, and bay leaves.
  • Let it simmer for a few minutes, then add fish stock.
  • Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Stir in crème fraîche and lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Add shrimp and pasta just before serving.
  • Serve with grated Parmesan and basil sprinkled over.
