Method

  • Remove the skin from the fermented fish, fillet it, and cut into pieces.
  • Boil and peel the potatoes.
  • Slice the onion and leek into thin strips.
  • Arrange the fermented fish on a plate together with the boiled potatoes, onion, and leek.
  • Sprinkle with a little pepper and serve with sour cream, flatbread, or potato lefse.
