Rekepita

Pita bread can be filled with whatever you like and is perfect for lunchboxes. In this recipe, we suggest a fresh shrimp salad with vegetables and pineapple as filling. All our recipes are sourced fromgodfisk.no

Method

  • Grate the carrot coarsely, finely chop the leek, and cut the pineapple into chunks.
  • Mix together the shrimp, carrot, leek, pineapple, and bell pepper.

Dressing

  • Finely chop the parsley, and mix it with the plain yogurt and mayonnaise.
  • Fold the shrimp mixture into the dressing.
  • Cut the pita bread in half and fill each half with the shrimp mixture.
  • Place the pita in the lunchbox.

Tip:Feel free to pack some fruit or vegetables in the lunchbox as snacks.
