Prawns with flavorful sauces

Method

Herb oil

  • Blend flat-leaf parsley, garlic, and pine nuts with an immersion blender until smooth.
  • Gradually add oil and season with salt and pepper.

Aioli

  • Press the garlic, and whisk it well together with the egg, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sugar.
  • Add oil slowly in a thin stream while whisking.
  • Finely chop chives and fold them into the aioli.

pesto

  • Blend basil, pine nuts, grated parmesan, olive oil, and lemon juice with an immersion blender until smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Chili Crème

  • Mix sour cream and sweet chili sauce together.
  • Season with cayenne pepper and adjust with more sweet chili sauce if desired.

Serving

  • Place the prawns in a bowl.
  • Serve the prawns with good bread and the sauces in small bowls on the side so your guests can choose their favorites.
