Stir-fried Plaice

  • Cut the plaice into thick strips.
  • Heat oil in a wok or deep frying pan and cook the fish for about 1 minute. Remove and set aside.
  • Cut vegetables into strips, fry for 2-3 minutes, then pour in soy sauce.
  • Dissolve potato starch in fish stock and pour into the wok. Stir and bring everything to a quick boil.
  • Add sweet and sour sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  • Gently fold the fish into the vegetables and heat for about 1 minute.
  • Serve the stir-fry with rice. Feel free to garnish with fresh herbs if you have any.
