Wok with Wolffish and Rice Noodles

With rice noodles, garlic, ginger, and curry paste, this stir-fry gains an Asian flavor. If you wish to add extra vegetables, they can be finely chopped and cooked together with the fish. All our recipes are adapted from godfisk.no

Method

  • Cook the rice noodles according to the instructions on the package.
  • Cut the fish into pieces, about 3 cm in size, and sprinkle with salt.
  • Wash and clean the spring onions, then cut into 3 cm pieces.
  • Peel and finely chop the garlic.
  • Wash, peel, and grate the ginger.
  • Heat oil in a wok or large skillet and add the fish, garlic, and ginger. Sauté the fish for about 1 minute on each side.
  • Add curry paste, soy sauce, fish stock, and water. Bring to a boil.
  • Then add the cooked noodles and spring onions, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve the stir-fry with fresh coriander leaves sprinkled on top.

Tip:The dish can also be made in a regular frying pan with a slightly higher edge or in a pot instead of a wok.
