Hake Wrap

Hake in a wrap with raw vegetables and sour cream is an easy dish that will appeal to both adults and children. The hake can be grilled or fried in a pan. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Method

  • Cut the saithe into small pieces, sprinkle with salt and curry. Set aside.
  • Heat a frying pan with a little butter or oil.
  • Fry the pollock fillet for about 2 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the pieces. The fish is ready when it flakes apart.

  • Grate the carrots and cucumber coarsely, and grate the ginger finely.
  • Mix the ingredients for the raw vegetables together.

Serving

  • Spread sour cream along the center of each tortilla wrap, then add raw vegetables and the fish.
  • Fold, roll up, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Tips and variations:

  • You can easily swap out pollock for cod or other white fish varieties.
  • You can also prepare this on the grill during summer. Do this by placing the fish in greased aluminum foil. Check periodically, and remove the fish when it has a light white color and is cooked through.
