Salted Cod on the Grill

Marinated salted cod makes for fantastic barbecue food. This recipe offers lots of delicious flavor but is still very easy to prepare. Experience a new grilling sensation with a traditional ingredient! All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Method

  • Cut the salt cod into serving portions.
  • Finely chop the chili, and mix it with the other marinade ingredients.
  • Pour the marinade over the salted cod, and let it marinate for 3-4 hours.
  • Place the salted cod on a double grill grate and cook over a hot grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.

Mango and Avocado Salad

  • Cut mango, avocado, and red onion into small cubes, and finely chop the chili and parsley.
  • Grate the lime zest, and squeeze the juice of the lime and orange.
  • Mix mango, avocado, red onion, chili, and parsley with olive oil, then pour over the lime and orange juices. Sprinkle grated lime zest on top of the salad and season with salt and pepper.

Serving

  • Serve the salted cod with mango and avocado salad alongside bread.
