Spiced Grilled Trout

Trout is very suitable for grilling, as it develops a juicy core in the middle. In this recipe, the trout is seasoned and served with a delicious potato salad. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Ingredients

Potato Salad

Method

  • Cook the potatoes, peel, and cut into smaller pieces.
  • Chop the spinach, slice the radishes, finely chop red onion, and coarsely chop dill.
  • Mix the potatoes with spinach, radishes, red onion, dill, sour cream, mayonnaise, and grated horseradish.
  • Cut the trout fillet into serving pieces.
  • Mix together sugar, chili powder, cumin, thyme, salt, and olive oil, then brush the mixture onto both sides of the trout fillets.
  • Grill the trout fillets for about 4 minutes on each side.
  • Serve the freshly grilled trout with potato salad on the side.
