Breaded Salmon with Mashed Potatoes

Method

  • Cut the salmon fillet into appropriate pieces, dry thoroughly with paper towels, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Beat the eggs well in a bowl and place the bread crumbs on a plate.
  • Dip the salmon pieces into the egg, then into the bread crumbs.
  • Fry the pieces until golden and cooked through in oil, about 2 minutes on each side.

Mashed Potatoes

  • Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes.
  • Cook the potato cubes in lightly salted water until tender, then drain and let them steam dry.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually stir in milk to create a smooth sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the potato cubes and chopped dill into the sauce.
  • Serve the salmon with mashed potatoes and boiled broccoli.
