Asian Fish Stew with Cod and Noodles

This fish stew features flavors from Thailand. We’ve used cod in the recipe, but you can easily adapt it with other white fish such as coley or haddock. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Method

  • Cut the cod into pieces.
  • Finely chop shallots, garlic, chili, and lemongrass, and grate the ginger.
  • Squeeze the juice and grate the lime zest.
  • Heat olive oil in a pot.
  • Sauté shallots, garlic, chili, lemongrass, and ginger for 3-4 minutes over medium heat.
  • Add lime juice and zest, and fish broth.
  • Bring to a boil and season with salt and cayenne pepper.
  • Add the cod and egg noodles to the pot, and let simmer until both the fish and noodles are fully cooked, about 4 minutes.
  • Serve the fish stew topped with finely chopped parsley.
