Baked Trout with Fresh Salad

A fresh, flavorful, and colorful dish that can be served for both lunch and dinner. Feel free to use salmon here if that's what you have available. All our recipes are sourced from godfisk.no

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients for the dressing. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for a moment.
  • Cut the avocado into cubes and the mango into slices, and remove the seeds from the chili.
  • Combine the salad, avocado, mango, and finely chopped chili with pickled ginger. Squeeze lime juice from one lime over the mixture.
  • Divide the trout fillet into serving portions
  • Sprinkle or roll the fillet in sesame seeds and place them in an ovenproof dish.
  • Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Bake the fish at 180°C for up to ten minutes. Baking for too long will make the fish dry.
  • Garnish with lime wedges and sesame seeds.
  • Serve with the fresh salad and optionally boiled rice or quinoa.
