Baked Cod

Method

  • Set the oven to 200 °C.
  • Cut the cod into serving pieces.
  • Mix cold water and salt until the salt is dissolved.
  • Let the cod pieces sit in the salting brine for 10 minutes, then remove them and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and put a slice of mozzarella on each piece.
  • Bake the fish in the oven for about 8 minutes.

Side Dishes

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly, cut into thick slices, and boil until tender in water.
  • Divide the broccoli into small florets and cook together with the potatoes for 1 minute once the potatoes are done.
  • Drain the cooking water and toss the vegetables in butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Serve the baked cod with potatoes and broccoli.
