Mediterranean Stew with Hake

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 150 °C.
  • Place the hake in a greased ovenproof dish.
  • Brush the fish with oil, season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the oven until the hake is cooked through, about 15 minutes.

Side Dishes

  • Boil the myoline eggs until hard-boiled, about 3 minutes, then cool and halve.
  • Slice shallots into rings and cook in water with added vinegar for 3 minutes.
  • Cut canned peppers into pieces and halve the artichoke hearts.
  • Shred the hake and serve with the side dish and toasted baguette. Feel free to garnish with fresh basil.
