Breaded Ray Fish with Three Types of Onions

Method

  • Cut the fish fillet into serving pieces.
  • Mix flour, salt, and pepper, then coat the fish portions in the mixture.
  • Cook the fish over medium heat in olive oil until just cooked through, about 4 minutes on each side.

Onion Mix

  • Cut red onion into wedges, shallots into rings, and spring onions into pieces approximately 3 cm long.
  • Sauté the onions in butter, then pour over fish stock diluted with water, and let it simmer until the onions are tender.
  • Season the gravy with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the ray fish with the onion mix, gravy, boiled potatoes, and broccoli.
