Smoked salmon in tortilla bowls with avocado cream

Method

  • Grease muffin tins with olive oil. Press the tortillas into the cups and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (about 400°F) for 7–9 minutes.
  • Roughly chop the salmon slices and place half in a bowl. Mix them with the ingredients for the marinade.
  • Put the avocado, sour cream and lime juice into a blender. Blend until creamy and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Fill the tortilla cups with avocado cream, the marinated salmon, and top with the remaining smoked salmon. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds and chives on top.

Tip: If the tortilla wraps are too tall, they can be trimmed or cut to size. The trimmings are perfect for making tortilla chips.
