  • Scrape the skin free of scales, rinse, and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Cut the salmon into serving pieces and place them in a plastic bag.
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce over the salmon pieces in the plastic bag, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Grill the salmon skin-side down for about 6 minutes, then approximately 1 minute on the other side.

Pickled Cabbage

  • Thinly shred the Napa cabbage, grate the carrot, and mix together with cayenne pepper.
  • Mix sugar and apple cider vinegar, and pour over the salad.
  • Let the salad sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Stir in sesame seeds and finely chopped spring onions, and season with salt and pepper just before serving.

Chili mayonnaise
